The Saint-Frobert neighborhood in Troyes was the heart of the Jewish quarter during the time of Rashi in the 11th century, symbolizing the coexistence of Jews and Christians until the 13th century. Several places today recall this history: the Rashi Sphere, the Jacques Chirac Media Library, the synagogue on Rue Brunneval, and the Rashi House. Together, they perpetuate the memory of a major spiritual and cultural heritage of medieval Champagne.
